Why do I write poetry
My poetry and time with words is the "home" I have never known ..
it is that place of peace where Demons can only troll the edges for the Angels vigilantly stand guard ..
where I can run free with petals falling into my hair and flowers tickle my feet and laughter sits on every drop of air ..
it is where my heart rests, and when it wakes,
wants to share the absolute joy and understanding that comes from such a heaven on earth.
Writing poetry is my wonderful personal reality,
and when earthly reality overwhelms me ...
my words take me safely home.
